Vaccination Schedules
Canine
- DHPP
- Given in a series of 4 vaccines as a puppy starting at 6 to 8 weeks old approximately 3 weeks apart. Then boostered yearly thereafter.
- Rabies
- Given at 4 months (16 weeks). Then boostered in 1 year. Then boostered every 3 years thereafter.
- Bordetella
- Given in a series of 2 vaccines approximately 3 weeks apart (at 12 and 15 weeks). Then boostered every 6 months if boarded or groomed often, or boostered yearly if boarded or groomed occasionally.
Feline
- FVRCP
- Given in a series of 3 vaccines as kitten (9 weeks of age or older) Then boostered yearly.
- FELV -
- Given as a series of 2 vaccines (9 weeks of age or older) Then boostered yearly.
- Rabies
- Given at 4 months (16 weeks). Then boostered in 1 year. Then boostered every 3 years thereafter.
Note:
In both Dogs and Cats, 2 distemper vaccines should be given after 12 weeks of age. Then boostered yearly. If younger then 12 weeks they should get 1 distemper vaccine every 3 weeks until 16 weeks (4 months) of age.
Other Vaccines
- Rattlesnake
- Given in a series of 2 vaccines approximately 3 weeks apart. Then boostered every 4, 6, or 12 months depending on the risk level.
