- What are your office hours?

Our office hours are:
Monday - Friday 7:30 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Saturday 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. - What is the earliest/latest I can bring my pet in?
- Our earliest appointment is 8:00 a.m. Monday through Saturday. Monday through Friday we take our last appointment at 6:40 p.m. On Saturday our last appointment is at 2:40 p.m. After our last appointment, there is an emergency fee (or after-hours fee).
- Do I have to have an appointment?
- It is better to have an appointment. There is less of a waiting period. We do accept walkins but usually there will be a wait time and possibly an extra charge.
- Do you have someone here all night to check on my hospitalized pet?
- We do not have staff here after hours. We will hospitalize low risk animals, but we send higher risk animals to a 24 hour hospital for continuous monitoring.
- Can I just drop my pet off and pick them up after work?
- We do occasionally allow owners to drop off their pet, if the situation calls for it. If it is necessary to drop off your pet, please call our office to schedule a time.
- Can I make payments?
- Payment plans are available. We also accept cash, checks with a valid driver's license, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, and Debit cards with either the Visa or MasterCard logo.
- How old must my pet be in order to be spayed or neutered?
- Your pet can be spayed or neutered as early as 4 months of age. Although, our preferred age for spaying or neutering is 5 months.
- Is declawing my kitten cruel? When should it be done?
- No, it is not cruel. The pain and discomfort of the surgery can be controlled with medication and laser surgery. The laser surgery allows most pets to wake up pain free and go home the evening of the surgery. We recommend declawing be done after 3 months of age.
- Do you board pets?
- No, we do not board animals at Happy Valley Animal Hospital. Our sister hospital, Bell Ridge Animal Hospital on 35th Avenue and Bell Road, boards animals. For boarding questions please call 602-938-1982.
- Do you see any exotic pets?
- No, we do not see any exotic pets.
